Diagnosis of ALLERGIC RHINITIS -AR

Diagnosis of AR is based on the personal history of the patient. Additionally, doctors may also recommend one or both of the following tests¹:

Skin prick test. This test helps in understanding the potential allergens.1
Allergy Blood test. This involves a blood test [The radioallergosorbent test (RAST)] that measures immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies which are seen in allergy.1
