Symptoms of MEASLES

The signs and symptoms of measles are generally seen around 10 - 14 days after getting exposed to the virus. Thus it is possible that someone with the virus inside may not show any signs and symptoms during this time. Once developed, the signs and symptoms generally are as follows - 3:

  • Moderate or high fever
  • A continuous dry cough
  • Nasal discharge
  • Soreness of throat
  • Swelling & redness of the eyes
  • Tiny white spots bluish-white center on a red background —  called Koplik's spots.
  • Rashes on the skin
