Tuberculosis Causes

Causes of TUBERCULOSIS

Tuberculosis is an infection caused by bacteria that spread from person to person through microscopic droplets released into the air. Although tuberculosis is highly contagious, it's not easy to catch if close contact is not made. People with active TB who've had the correct drug treatment for at least two weeks or more are not contagious to others.1

As per Ayurveda, the blockage of strotas (channels) carrying nutritious part of food leads to the symptoms like kasa (cough) etc in the disease Rajyakshma.2
