  • Avoid excess salt, sugar, coffee, alcohol, tobacco

Lifestyle changes (Vihar)

  • Being physically active, avoid smoking, keeping a healthy weight, and maintaining your blood cholesterol and blood pressure at proper levels.
  • Rhythmic breathing and meditation
  • Practice Asanas such as dandasana, janusirsana, paschimottanasana, tadasana
