To know your dosha is to know yourself
Ayurveda defines health as a state of balance between mind and body. As each person is unique, our mind-body types are also different from the people around us and so are our illnesses and their solutions. In other words, there is no one size fits all medicine and treatment in Ayurveda.
In Ayurveda, our mind-body type is explained by the influence of three doshas- Kapha, Pitta, and Vata. Each dosha has a defined set of physical and emotional characteristics.
