What is Acute Kidney Failure Ayurvedic treatment

Acute kidney failure means that the kidneys are unable to filter any waste products from the blood and this condition develops rather quickly.  Due to the failure of the kidneys to filter blood, dangerous levels of waste may accumulate and the blood chemistry may change due to accumulation of toxins.1

In Ayurveda, failure of kidneys to produce urine and filter wastes can be correlated with Mutraghat (Suppression of urine). In this condition, the formation of urine is hampered due to vitiation of vata dosha, resulting in minimal or no urine production in the body.2
