Symptoms of CONSTIPATION

Constipation in children or babies can have the following symptoms –

Difficulty or straining when passing stools
Pain and excessive crying while passing stools
A tiny amount of blood in the nappy or on the toilet paper maybe seen due to small tear on the skin of lower passage.
Passing stools less often than normal, less than three complete (proper) stools per week
Stools that are hard and large, or pellet-like and small, like rabbit droppings
Abdominal pain
Poor appetite
Very irritable or unhappy child
Nausea
